Mestre Baixinho founded the Capoeira Angola Irmãos Guerreiros group in 1983, together with his brothers Guerreiro and Macete, and his son Marrom. Senzalinha, the group's headquarters, is still located today in the garage of the house built by Mestre Baixinho in the 70s. Mestre Baixinho taught capoeira classes in various places and trained students who are now leading the group's activities.
