Mestre Cutica was a capoeirista and one of the early teachers of Mestre Norival Moreira de Oliveira. He was also the brother of Mestre Nilton, and together they introduced Norival to other elder masters like Pirró and Zeca. Both Mestre Nilton and Mestre Cutica were highly respected in the capoeira community.
