Mestre Meinha (Messias dos Santos) is a Capoeira Angola mestre from São Paulo. He began practicing capoeira in 1966, received Angolan training with Mestre Gato Preto from 1979 and was recognized as a mestre in 1999. Mestre Meinha received his mestre title in São Paulo on May 23, 1999, from Mestre Gato Preto.

He is the founder and leader of the Escola de Capoeira Angola Cruzeiro do Sul, a school that plays a significant role in spreading Angolan capoeira in São Paulo and beyond.
