Aimed by the desire to spread the principles and practices of Capoeira in Italy, in 2017 Mestre Coringa founded the A.S.D. Capoeira Riomar Trieste, a branch of the Capoeira Riomar Association of Rio de Janeiro. The A.S.D. in Trieste is currently affiliated with UISP (Italian Association of Sport for All), which is recognized by CONI (Italian National Olympic Committee), and has about 100 members. Mestre Coringa's engagement is to promote the culture and practice of Capoeira as a martial art, as well as other related activities such as Maculêlê and Samba de Roda. He address his training and workshop to people of all ages and social backgrounds, with the goal of enhancing inclusion and integration, along with healthy physical activity, maintenance of an individual balance, and socialization.
